The CDTI project (File IDI-20240067), with the title “Design and development of new microbial preparations for improving agricultural yield in horticultural and fruit crops”, aims to develop biofertilizers and biostimulant products with a broad spectrum of action.

This project has different development phases that include the selection, identification, and characterization of promising bacterial and fungal strains, the study of synergies and incompatibilities between microorganisms and other biostimulant active ingredients, as well as the development of optimized multiplication and downstream processes to achieve versatile products with high viability in agricultural systems.

The project is being carried out at the facilities of Mycointech Europe in Tarragona (Spain) between May 2023 and April 2026, and is being funded the CDTI and the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).
